Area 9 Combined Training

West Wilts - Area 9 Combined Training - 17th May brought home a fantastic team 3rd 🥉, with some

brilliant individual results across the board!

A huge congratulations to Jess Hawes and Royal, who continue to prove themselves consistently in the red ribbons. A polished dressage test scoring 72% followed by a fantastic clear round secured them the top spot 🏆🥇 in their section — and with it, qualification for Nationals! An incredible achievement and so well deserved.

Kate Stenner and Brenin had a slightly shaky start to the year, and after nearly completely losing her bottle, Kate decided to dig deep and give it a proper go. That determination paid off with a 65% dressage score and a clear round, earning them a brilliant 3rd place 🥉.

Laura Hayden and Dinkie also made a wonderful comeback story today. After Dinkie suffered a terrible field injury last year, it was fantastic to see them back out competing in such good form. A solid dressage test combined with just one pole in the show jumping saw them finish in a very respectable 5th place. Laura also deserves extra club points for stepping in at the last minute to ensure we had a full team — a huge thank you to her!

A brilliant result and a lovely day for everyone involved.
