Monthly Club Speakers 2026
Monthly Club Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at the Bitton Football Club, Bath Road, Bitton BS30 6HX startin at 7.30pm. Members pay a sub of £2 and guests are asked to pay £3.

Charity Auction
We’re hosting our charity auction and would love you to get involved! Come along and bring any unwanted Christmas gifts to be auctioned on the night, with all proceeds going to support some truly worthwhile causes. It’s a fun, feel-good way to clear out those unused gifts, enjoy the evening, and help make a real difference at the same time.

The Confident Horse Rider
Amanda Kirtland is an equestrian mindset coach and the founder of The Confident Rider. With a background in training, mentoring and rider development, she specialises in helping riders overcome fear, rebuild confidence, and strengthen the partnership with their horses.
After experiencing her own confidence challenges in the saddle, Amanda dedicated her work to understanding the psychology behind riding nerves. She now supports riders of all levels to develop calmness, resilience and self-belief — focusing not just on technique, but on mindset.
We’re delighted to welcome Lee Hodgetts, Chiropractor, who will be joining us to talk about the importance of looking after our posture — both in and out of the saddle. Lee will share practical advice on how posture affects our riding, balance and overall wellbeing, along with simple tips to help prevent aches, pains and long-term strain.

Lizzie Milton
Lizzie runs Earth to Heaven, an equine collection and cremation service based in Somerset, where she supports owners through one of the hardest moments—the loss of a much-loved horse or pony. Known by many as a truly lovely and compassionate lady, Lizzie provides a calm, respectful presence, taking care of everything from removal through to cremation with dignity and care. Her work brings comfort, reassurance, and kindness when it’s needed most.
